DUALITY

 Time to time scholars of human history pre and post colonialism have amalgamated the reality of Europe's active involvement in deconstruction, destabilization, derailing and dehydration of Africa's effective&functional systems,with theories that portray to give Europe an upper hand in molding the present day Africa.Dialectical from the start that existence of one gives credit to the onset of the other .Truth be told ,modern day civilization &social revolution should be attributed to if not subjected to history involvement in shaping what we appreciate as "New era ".

Law and order precedes existence of a people. Africa pre colonization had its own set of principles alongside code of conduct similar to The Vikings of Scandinavia or the Red indians of South America. Centralized power control translated to well outlined roles , disciplines, marginalized (yet functional) dockets in sustaining the chiefdoms,kingdoms and control powers. Communalism allowed the people to toil ,labor collectively and enjoy the harvest of their motherland as a community. With less interest in social-political ideologies,each member of a given society either actively or passively contributed in the functionality of this 'Africa.

'Mwacha Mila ni mtumwa' so they say,African culture should less be eclipsed by European perception of things. Understanding our immediate environment helped in structuring frameworks of our interaction with the same.Art &dance were invariably linked with a religious world outlook. As a matter of fact the so called absurdity in acknowledging the creator through unfamiliar means to the Europeans is somehow an index in measuring Africa's level of development pre Eurocentrism. The beauty of allowing nature to live &resonate with your existence is more than mere camouflaging of present day intent with ideologies that mismatch the truth . 

Introduction of slavery early 17th century ripped Africa off of it's possible potential. For the longest of time we've been the price. We're it not for enslavement of our young people the current running textile,iron, agricultural industries in America,Asia and Europe would've been dormant . With less knowledge on the intentions of whites' the then Africa's chiefs and kings sought to trade their own people for mere iron tools,firearms and some food seeds that would've eventually find its way here. Tens of millions of sons and daughters of the soil were forcefully trapped ,enslaved and sold to merchants to work in feudal societies abroad. See, Africa's means of production have been owned by citizens of another world from time immemorial which has inturn facilitated flow of wealth to this elements.

From communalism to slavery to secularization of Africa's culture which as a result did speed up development of capitalism . Introduction of western culture be it in education, religion,language,sports,music and art did facilitate creation if not production of subscribers to western values.i'll break it down. Western education initially undermined the wisdom of the old and aided in the erosion of norms ,values and ways of life of the people. Language &music served as a weapon for cultural dominance whose purpose was to withdraw Africans from the source of their existence leave alone religion & art. Look around,it did work magic. Didn't it?

Present day Operation of imperialist systems namely Japan USA , France & Germany still voluntarily drain Africa. Foreign investments insures &ensures that natural resources plus labor of Africa produces wealth that is lost . Dissociation of Mali & Burkina Faso from France political interests speaks volume of the lies we've been fed for centuries. How is it possible to have a democratic government central bank offshore with no direct access to the fruits of your own land? Global trade ,colonial dominance and capitalist investment has succeed in labelling African states as metropolitan economies as they (imperialists) serve as  satellites in the same.
